English by Ramadan light

Introducing Label Gallery children visitors to a range of Ramadan English vocabulary through coloring, painting and crafting activities. Kids are going to either receive templates of different items typical to the Ramadan/Eid theme to color or paint, or they will draw their own to take home. They will also get to know the name of each item in English. Also, they are going to be able to create their own Ramadan art through cutting, gluing crafts.

The American Language Center Community Service Club did a wonderful job organizing this Ramadan arts event at our partner Label Gallery. Islamic culture in Morocco does not generally decorate for holidays and it was wonderful watching children in the community express themselves while celebrating the holidays.
